On Saturday, April 23rd, over 30 adults and 10 children from 13 different countries enjoyed an outing to Delamere Forest. The weather was good and, although we had interesting moments as some people lost the way, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the companionship. After the walk we went to the village of Kingsley where we were made welcome in the hall of St. John’s church. Ann and her daughter Jane, had prepared tea, coffee and lots of cake. Some of the party went into the church building nearby where at least one of the party tried his hand at bell ringing! It was a fitting end to a lovely day and we thank God for his goodness to us.
